Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES​

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials and services at competitive costs.

  • Ensure all procurement processes comply with ISO standards and company policies.

  • Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships with regular performance evaluations.

Logistics & Transportation

  • Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics to meet production and customer requirements.

  • Optimize transport methods and costs while ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation in line with ISO procedures.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and safe storage.

  • Implement ISO-compliant processes for receiving, handling, and issuing of goods.

  • Monitor stock levels to support production schedules and minimize downtime.

Project & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Support project teams by managing procurement, logistics, and material readiness.

  • Coordinate with production, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

  • Solid understanding of ISO, EHS, and 6S standards and their application in supply chain processes.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management (SCM) practices, ERP systems, and inventory control methods.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage suppliers, and coordinate cross-functional projects.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

  • Language proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English.
