Senior Electrical Technician / Electrical Engineer (Production)
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- - Responsible for the electrical assembly, wiring, panel integration, testing, and troubleshooting of custom-built automation equipment.
- Assemble and install electrical components into control panels according to electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Perform control panel wiring, cable routing, labelling, and electrical integration for automation machines.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Perform electrical I/O checking, continuity testing, insulation testing, and functional verification.
- Troubleshoot electrical, control, and wiring issues during machine assembly and commissioning.
- Support machine power-up, functional testing, and debugging activities.
- Perform machine modifications and electrical rework based on Engineering Change Notices (ECN) or customer requirements.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with company quality standards and electrical safety requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of wiring changes, testing records, and assembly checklists.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- - Able to read the pneumatic Diagram & electrical schematic diagram.
- Able to perform the motor tunning & electrical IO check.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- - Candidate must process at least a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in automation equipment manufacturing, electrical integration.
- Required language (s) English, Malay & Mandarin (Preferable).
