Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES​

    - Design automated machine modules and mechanical parts according to customer requirements and relevant automation industry standards.
    - Prepare final production procedures, operation instructions, and process control instructions.
    - Create detailed production drawings and prepare BOM lists for all mechanical fabrication parts and standard electro-pneumatic components.
    - Undertake other design-related duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
    - Liaise with other departments to resolve design-related issues and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
    - Maintain a proper filing system within the department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

    - Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
    - Proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Office.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post - Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, or Master's Degree in Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), or equivalent.
    - At least 2–3 years of working experience in a related field, preferably as a Senior Executive specializing in - - - Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
    - Professional language proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, and English.
